im officially on my break now, for two weeks.
there are a lot of things i needs to get done within this 2 weeks.
both uni and my own work.
its actually real intense now.
but more enjoyable, considering last year there were more limitations in things.
this year is really up to me.

there are also some changes to me as well.
for the past years, i always think that i don't even have enough time for my own stuff
how would i have time to help others....?
and this year, i have started to spend time helping others.
like...every monday mornings i go to a school and just spend less than an hour listen to children read to me.
they are actually really excited and wanting people to actually listen to them.
now that i think back.... was it that hard for me to just get 45mins out of 1 week to listen to kids last year?
well, at least i am starting to do it now.... its never too late for things like this.
there is never a time limitation to help or spend time with others.
helping people doesn't necessary means giving money but also spending time.

another thing that i have been thinking a lot lately is will i get a job when i graduate.
honestly.....eventhough i dont really like nz that much because of it is sooo slow and small. but i really like nz because of the ppl here.
i have spent 7 years in this country, and made a lot of precious friendships.
it would hard for me to leave nz.

have not blog for a while now.
there was a few times that i wanted to write something here
but then didnt end up to because of i lost the words i wanted to say or they are too long to write.
3rd year of cgd is great! a good start for the year.
some people might think that it will be cruisy for me this year since that im just doing 4 papers, 2 papers each sem.
But it is not what you think, there is a reason why i overload papers for the last few years because this year will be crazy. wont have time for other papers.
So it really annoys me when people say things like "you are so lucky! only 2 papers! so free"
most of the times when i hear this... i will keep quiet and just think that they dont really know so, its fair to make that statement. BUT when i am in a bad mood, i can just snap at them.

I think that is also why that i have been having mood swing lately..
i have that every year.... usually when im real busy
but lately i have been having it more often and CONTINUOSLY, so poor people around me... haha... i do get irritated very easily... so better warn people that is reading this and know me....
when u see me not smiling, look tired, doesn't talk much....better not talk to me.

Happy things also happened lately tho!
Jono and Kwan got married! soooooo sweet and cute!!!
they are really perfect for each other!
two of them are real nice people that i know and im really happy for them!
its feels really good to see friends getting marry! hehe
their wedding is the first wedding i attend (in terms of good friends)
they are heading to malaysia and HK on tuesday.
hope they have a good time there

i am gonna do back to my work now.
was just having a break from it.

好多design噶野我都忘記佐！

其實我返黎到以家真系無做過d有少少用噶野
仲有一個月我就返去啦！

前幾日同個朋友吃飯
傾起好多野

但系講真啦，我點plan都好。。。以后噶野邊個會知吖

我想發生噶野唔一定會發生，又可能遲d先發生，又可能聽日就發生
聽日同d friend去唱k. 其實近排去佐唱k好多次
但系都好想去唱我唔系好識唱
但系其實唱歌真系可以舒緩心情
講到我好似有憂郁癥甘哈哈
但系我發覺我中意佐唱k

我呢個禮拜返去kl咯
過新年！摞紅包！

我今年要努力存錢吖！要努力賺錢！
我有好多好多野想買！！哈哈　
其實媽咪話買俾我　但系有好多野　自己用自己賺返黎噶錢買
就會覺得好好咯
而且又唔系自己無返工
自己買俾自己會珍惜ｄ噶！
而且我今年要去旅行！　當俾自己噶畢業禮物！
錢唔一定可以開心　　但系我覺得無錢就一定唔開心
會多ｄ煩惱咯

been sleeping real early lately...
and lazy to go out. dont know why...
maybe cuz of the humidity...

what i have accomplished since i came bk.
None.
i really have to do something...
been trying to do my portfolio.. but cant think of a good idea for it...
then i tried my website... cant as well...
i think i work better in nz than in msia.
i have wrote down so many things that i COULD do with my portfolio in my phone as a reminder..
i do that when i go and lay down on my bed early... hahaha...
i think its because ppl in my house sleeps early.
but anyway, i have to get something done.. or at least have a solid idea for my portfolio

soon, i will go back to KL again for chinese new year.
CNY is always good, the fact that i will get lots of red packets! haha
and it would probably be a while after i will come back for CNY again...

Anyways, i still need to think of some new targets/resolutions for 2009.
for now... .i can only think of one...
1. Save up for end of the year 2009!

no matter what, i need to seek for the best in everything..
studies, work, etc.
Will try not to waste time!

last day of 2008

went to pulau manukan. got burnt... but it was fun.
we went to sutera harbour for swims first.. then take the boat from there...

obviously, there were a lot of people since that it is the last day of 2008 and lots of tourists too!
came home afternoon ish... we were all v tired..so didnt cook n didnt go out to eat... we ordered takeaways.. ahha

anyways, since that a year has gone...
lets think about what i have achieved for 2008.
well, i hv achieved a few things that i set at the beginning of the year.
such as save up for a mac. and i did.
etc.....
but there were things i didnt achieved too...

hopefully the new year resolution for 2009 will b better.!
i need a few days to think about it tho.
i dont want to just simply thing a few things and set them as my goal for the year.
it is soooooo stupid! and i know a lot of ppl do that!
so pointless!

anyways... went side track...
i still havnt complete my portfolio and website...
well actually not even close....
i really have to spend more time on them!!!!!!

Christmas have past.
now everywhere is preparing for chinese new year.
i will be back to KL during cny. will get lots of red packets!

anyways, what i did for christmas.....
nothing really. just hang out with friends.
the decorations here in sabah is not that exciting....
quite depressing actually.
then on boxing day, me and a couple of my friends went to karaoke!
we planned to get there at 2. but ended up reaching there at around 4pm
then sang till 7. wait for another friend and went to have dinner.
was really nice hanging out with them
too bad i forgot to take photos. i brought my cameras.. but i forgot about them

what to do for new years eve??
one of my friend told me to go to a hotel lounge.
they are having a countdown thingy... apparently should be quite nice.
but i dont know anyone there, and plus i dont know lots of ppl in sabah.
so cant really find anyone to go with me
i guess i shall stay at home again...
but i wont go to popular places during those times anyways, it will be packed with people!

v soon... i will b older again......

was cleaning up my stuff in my old room at KK.
found a piece of paper, it was a very old paper....
has "Junior 1 Ping" on it.... it was the class list when i was at junior one!
man.... i dont even remember most of the people on the list.
only recognised a few (less than 6)... n fortunately i still keep contact with that 6 people.
quite cool actually! and coincidently 2 of them talked to me on msn while i was looking thru the list.
n we spent a good amount of time chatting on msn about stuff happened at Junior 1.
memories are always good!

one of them are coming bk at jan. want to meet up soon!

i will keep that paper safely....n bring bk to nz!

went to penang for a few days
was quite nice! ate a lot!
but i will not stay in penang. not a lot of places to go

i dont know where i will spend my Christmas yet

i kinda wanna spend my Christmas with my friends
but i also wanna go to HK...
hmmmmmm......

But i will spend my chinese new year at KL
get lots of ang paos
and also i have to attend my cousin's wedding on the 7th of Feb.
So many weddings next year!
quite exciting actually!

Next year will be my last year of uni
also looking forward to that.
I will stay in nz after that too...
But will leave once i get my PR.

i have a few more days to go
n i will finish uni for this year!

last weekend was really hectic and tiring for me
took photos at a Filipino event.
about 16 hours a day, for 2 days.
standing!
on monday when i woke up... i felt the pain all over my body..
i was worst than 40 laps at the pools!
but anyways, i got through it..
now just compiling the photos together.
waiting for them to contact me and pay me.

It was actually quite an interesting event and it is really nice to know about their culture.
I also made some connections for my design things.
got a few name cards. might open some doors for me!

on monday.. i was planning to do my website assignment..
n sarah came to my plc to study..hahaha
she said she actually get something in her head.. which is funny..
cuz i kept annoying her..

but today.. i did some work for my assignment.
hopefully wont take too long to make it.

Another chapter of my life,

I think i am going through what i went through few years ago.
so technically speaking, it is actually not another chapter.
maybe i had a reversing chapter
I really wish everything will go smooth in life
but of course nothing will, it will always need to have some sort of obstacles
i guess thats life, and that is how i grow up

but recently, i have been having different kind of feelings that i have never felt before.
why am i doing this to myself?
why do i have to make myself into the picture?
i want to get myself out of it
i really want to...

end of the week
as usual, i hang out with ppl like lyn n sarah..etc
but today im more zombie...cuz i only had a few hours sleep last night
been doin my assignments.
at least i got them out of the way.

but another 2 more weeks to go
comes to think of it..
only just 2 weeks..
then i will be completely free from uni work
for the year anyways.

time really go pretty fast when you get older and older
so we really have to make sure we spend them wisely
unlike some of my friends at uni, just getting drunk...
maybe that is their way of spending their time wisely.

i would rather hangout with my good friends and talk.

I have been writing all the things have to do just now.
and i realised that my planning book is quite full
they all been filled up with my part time work, personal work, and some odd design jobs due dates and also some photo shoots days.
Basically busy till i go bk to msia.
I am glad that one of my friend from msia is coming to see me.
i guess she is the officially FIRST person to visit me from msia!
Looking forward to that...

i got into a conversions with a few people and we were talking about expressing yourself.
most of them will cry at movies or quite emotional
sometimes i really admire them... they can express themselves freely
its not that i can't, but i think subconsciously i dont want to
or maybe thats how i been brought up?
dont know....
i really hope i can do that.
But i guess there will always be people like me.
that is why we are all so unique

since friday.. when i handed in my assignments.
i havent been doing anything uni related....
which is quite bad! cuz i have a test tmr for game studies..
but i really dont know what to study....
well.. i have a couple more hours now and a tmr morning b4 the test at 1pm.
will see what i can study about it.

anyways, what happend last week....
basically went to uni most of the nights last week.
and on thursday night patrick came and mount my stuff for me!
very nice of him! but i ended up been told off by simon about my mounting...
how sad....
friday wasnt the nicest day ever!
but after my class... i felt so relieved!
then i went for an interview, that went good! hehehehe
after that i went to dinner with yapp, patrick, jono, kwan, and yapp's flatmates!
it was cool! just hanging out.. but by that time.. i was really tired....
then went to nate's housesit house to hang out for a bit..
hahahaha so i went home at around 10.
and had shower... jump straight on my bed...and sleep..haha

woke up reasonably early (as in 6.30am) on sat...
cuz went to drop yapp off the airport with patrick..
since that he being nice to me.. and mount my stuff..
so decided to accompany him. how nice of me!! wahahaha
after that we went to new market..shopping..
patrick bought a cap! quite nice actually..
and we thought that the sales man was gay..
cuz he is pretty into patrick..haha

came back hamilton and went to music prac.
later on at night we had deserts at metropolis with the girls.
then we went to kwan's house and watched a movie..
Black Hawk Down... it was pretty graphic..
but quite cool! i realised half way thru the movie that i watched it b4
was there until....midnight.. so.. i was pretty tired.. had a long day

today... pretty cool.. had church!
then us all went for dim sum!
filled me up a lot! then came home n did nothing..

these few days.. i have been doing some random thinkings....
what if that..what if this..
a lot of what ifs pop up in my mind.
but why do i have to think of those anyways!?
i should just let it be how it supposed to be..
like i told someone... "things happen when you least expects"

suddenly i feel like coming to nz is a bad choice.
i know this is just a "one second thought"
but i was just thinking if i were still in msia...
so many things would have not happen...
so many things would have happend!
i would be a different person...

just came back from work
been extremely busy recently
with uni work and all sorts.
i still dont get why we have to use code to design.
it is so pointless.
but anyways, this is the way it is i guess
i can't do much about it...

there is also some problem recently
with some ppl.
i realised there are all sorts of people out there...
and some of them can really be a problem...
but also from that, i realised that i do have a couple of real friends around me.
no matter what happened, i will always stand by those ppl's side!
i hope everything will be ok soon...

anyways... going to have dinner then going bk to lab for the night i guess....

have not blog for a long time
during this time, a lot of things have happened.
during the holidays i went to auckland twice.
both for friend's birthday. haha
Kwan-Lyn birthday
and my best friend Mei Wei's birthday!

i got a few of my marks back for design.
one of it is better than i expected then the other one is kinda ok.
i have been collecting cameras as ppl know.
and now i have another collectable, which is pop up book!
hahaha been going to second hand book shop n see if i can get anything "special"
so if anyone out there found any cool pop up books. please let me know.

next week will be quite busy
lots of things due. lots of things to do.
how i wish there is 48hours a day hahaha

Today... it wasnt the best day
had some conflicts with another person.
I made some mistakes. And i did apologize.
but apparently it is already too late.
People that knows me well knows that i dont say sorry easily.

on holidays now!
kinda glad. i need to catch up with my sleep
but i will still be working on my assignment during my term break tho
for my game studies paper and also have to start with my 2nd assignment for design and history as well.

I found playing pool/snooker is very cool!

sooo tired....
still at the labs now.
waiting for my thing to export.

this morning at 7.50am.
Sarah told me that we have a 3000 word essay due tomorrow(thursday) at 4pm
i was shocked....
i didnt even know about it.
obviously she just found out too.
we were so stress... cuz we still have the design assignment to do.
and now an essay... not the best time to have it.
so, we emailed the lecturer...
and he is soooooo considerate..and said that dont rush to hand in an essay
take your first week of teaching recess to do it.
i rather to have 2 good quality late essays, than 2 bad quality on time essays.
we were sooooo HAPPY!

Sarah n I was literally jumping at the labs!
our classmates were happy 4 us too!
that lights us up a lot!

then another problem is my animation can't render n export...
for some weird reason.
"file error......etc" i dont really know why.
so even though i finished my animation before everyone else...
im still at the labs trying to get it to export n burn into cd to hand in...

n now im really tired....
